In the third quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Serbia showed notable trends in downloads and revenue, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Rakuten Viber Messenger experienced fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at around 13.5K in mid-August, with a declining trend towards the end of September, finishing at approximately 7.4K. Revenue saw a significant increase, reaching up to $1.2K in late September from a low of $317 in early July.

Telegram maintained a consistent performance with weekly downloads mostly staying between 6.5K and 8.5K. Revenue showed a steady rise, particularly in September, peaking at around $1.3K in the final week of the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out showed a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting from 2.1K in July and dropping to about 1.8K by the end of September. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around $400 throughout the quarter.

Snapchat experienced a decline in weekly downloads from a high of approximately 9K in early August to around 6K by the end of September. Revenue saw an upward trend, peaking at $394 in late September after starting the quarter at $248.

Skype had a steady download rate, hovering around 350 weekly downloads. Revenue showed a slight increase, reaching $277 in the last week of September from $260 at the beginning of the quarter.
